About the club

Good work starts with better company.

Archer FilmStudios is a small club for people who make films and photos — professionally, for the love of it, or because they cannot ignore the light.

We meet monthly to compare work, trade methods, and make something outside our usual circles. Bring a question, a half-finished sequence, or just your curiosity.

Short film productions

From the first idea to the premiere: we write, shoot, and edit short films together — everyone finds a role, from camera and sound to directing and editing.

Trips & photo walks

Joint trips across Austria and abroad, regular photo walks, and exhibitions of our work — filmmaking and photography, side by side.

Who we are

A film & photography club from St. Pölten.

Archer FilmStudios is a non-profit club of filmmakers and photographers from St. Pölten in Lower Austria. It was founded by Sebastian Krumböck and Klemens Ruhrhofer out of a simple observation: the most exciting films and photos are rarely made alone.

What began as two friends with a camera and an idea quickly grew into a crew. Today the club brings together directors, camera operators, editors, sound designers, photographers, and actors — professionals, passionate amateurs, and complete beginners learning their craft side by side.

We founded the club to learn from each other, realize short films, interview series, and photo projects none of us could manage alone, and give young talent from the region a stage. Whether you shoot on cinema cameras or your phone — if you love moving images and stills, you belong with us.
